An authentic expression of the Waorani people in Ecuador's Amazonian rainforest. This field recording is of the Indian chiefs chanting together in order to bring peace to the troubled area of the Amazon basin. It is the ONLY live recording where men and women, monkeys, toucans, and parrots, all sing together. This recording stands witness to the potential amongst people who share a mutual and common interest and to the possibilities of transcending cultural barriers with honour & respect. The album features a variety of songs/chants plus soothingly thick tropical rainforest sounds.
