n Campina Grande and other cities in the northeastern Brazil is common for street vendors of handmade foods like candy walk the streets selling their products singing verses to draw the attention of potential consumers. This song was inspired by the corner of a street that chant these verses as they offer their delicacies. Coco is also a northeastern rhythm marked by improvisation of verses and peculiar rhythm.
