Berimbrown is a Brazilian "Black Power" funk revival band which mixes in a healthy dose of the Brazilian instrument known as the "Berimbau" - a single string attached to a stick and a gourd, played similarly to a fretless stand-up bass. The title track of this album, 20 de 11, is a tribute to Brazil's black pride day - November 20.
